Only run GRASP out of a wsh or xwsh window, NOT an xterm window. The latter does not respond correctly to GL textport commands. Thus, you must be in front of an SGI to use Grasp. If you are unsure what type your computer is running try typing "echo $WINTERM". If the reply is "WINTERM: Undefined variable." This means the default is being used which is xwsh and therefore OK.
