NIH Awards Center for Membrane Protein Expression with a Major Center Grant

This morning the National Institutes of Health announced that they have awarded a major center grant to the Center for Membrane Protein Expression of which Robert Stroud is the Principle Investigator.

Other investigators in the large effort to express eucaryotic membrane proteins with the end goal of determining their molecular structures include Dr. Ronald Kaback (UCLA), Dr. Robert Edwards (UCSF), Dr. David Julius (UCSF), Dr. Peter Walter (UCSF), Dr. Shimon Shuldiner (Israel), Dr. Daniel Minor (UCSF), and Dr. James Van Etten, (U of Nebraska)
