The unveiling of the structure of lysozyme, determined by Sir David Phillips and his team at the Royal Institution in London in 1965. Phillips demonstrates the length of the polypeptide chain fully extended alongside the model built of wire components at 2cm per Å. Among the audience was a new graduate student Bob Stroud, circled at the rear, also present in the audience were postdoctorals from the MRC lab in Cambridge, Brian Matthews and Paul Sigler.
