To use the Gilson liquid handler in the X-Ray lab, please contact Bill Harries or Chris Waddling for training. The liquid handler is capable of mixing custom crystal screens, including recipes from your favorite commercial screens. The unit can also take premixed crystal screens from stock vials and add them directly to your empty plates. Filled 96-well plates can then be moved to the Mosquito to set up the drop in either a hanging or sitting drop format. |
