| Operation of the Raxis IV in S-178
Welcome to Raxis 4 under Suse Linux. Here's what you need to know to get started. Administrative See Chris Waddling for safety verification. First time users--change to the /rax40/raxis/raxis6.2/control/code directory, and create new parameter files for yourself, cp PHI_OSC.raxis PHI_OSC.<yourname> cp PHI_STL.raxis PHI_STL.<yourname> cp header.raxis header.<yourname> Type source /rax40/raxis/.login Change directory to your frame directory (cd /rax40/scratch/yourname) and type start & Verify the detector with the Initialize:Execute menu item Set defaults for Environment:Realtime display. One little quirk about the software: to enter a new value in a dialog box you have to delete the old value first.
