O may not always be entirely up-to-date with the latest SGI graphics boards. If the quality of the graphics is low, experiment with setting the environment variable ONO_GR_TYPE. It may assume the following values (931102):

 ONO_VGX
 ONO_GTX
 ONO_PI
 ONO_INDIGO

Set the value as follows before starting O:

  setenv ONO_GR_TYPE ONO_GTX
