Mission Bay Facilities: QB3

As of February 2003, the Stroud Lab is located at the new UCSF facilities located at Mission Bay.

UCSF Mission Bay is UCSF's new 43-acre life sciences campus for teaching and research. In early 2003, faculty scientists, students and staff began moving into Genentech Hall, UCSF Mission Bay's first building. Over the next few months and years a community center building, childcare center building and landscaped openspace will complete the first development phase. It is hoped that the region will become a new bioscience park with the influence of UCSF Mission Bay leading the way for other private enterprises. UCSF Mission Bay is expected to have a far reaching impact on the speed and significance of research discoveries, healthcare quality, as well as positive effects on the city of San Francisco.
